Liton Das, Rony Talukder and Shakib Al Hasan started the rampage after losing the toss to bat. In the opening pair, Liton and Ronnie gave the team a pair of 124 runs in 9.2 overs. Along with their fastest century, they made a century in the opening pair and the second highest runs pair for any wicket. That pair was broken when Rony Talukdar took a catch for 44 off 23 balls near the boundary. Three fours and two sixes came from his bat. Liton Das at the other end was more devastating. He played a career-best innings of 83 runs off 41 balls before returning to the dressing room. 10 fours and three sixes can be seen from the bat of this right-handed batsman. Liton completed 50 runs in 18 balls on the way to playing that great innings. Mohammad broke the record of 20-ball fifty for the country. Then captain Shakib Al Hasan played an unbeaten innings of 38 runs off 24 balls. Hit two sixes and three fours. Tawheed Hridoy scored 24 runs off 13 balls with three fours and a six.
