Me llamo Ana María Petrella, nací y vivo en Venezuela, actualmente resido en Caracas, Distrito Capital de mi país. Desde muy joven me dedico a la música, específicamente al piano y el canto, después de eso decidí comenzar a escribir poesía y es algo que aún mantengo como desahogo y forma de drenar las situaciones vividas.

A mi edad adulta empecé a dedicarme a la educación (licenciatura en pedagogías), tuve la dicha de estudiar en una universidad experimental haciendo mi carrera muy diferente en cuanto al pensamiento crítico con una forma de enseñanza alternativa buscando la Libertad del Conocimiento a través del amor y la comprensión de la mente en los más jóvenes, lo cual no es muy bien visto por las maestras convencionales. De algún modo he continuado mi lucha por mejorar la forma educativa pero sólo desde el ámbito artístico.

Han pasado varios años y puedo decir que he laborado en diferentes empleos (de mi carrera y no) ofreciéndome una perspectiva de la realidad muy consciente y a veces reveladora. Desde hace algún tiempo me dedico también a la práctica del Ashtanga Yoga como principio fundamental para mejorar en salud y ello me ha vuelto más fuerte sobre todo espiritualmente.

Provengo de unos padres separados, una familia que ha superado muchas dificultades, sin embargo, la música, el yoga y el amor a la pedagogía me ha ayudado a salir adelante con empatía por la sociedad y buscando la manera de ayudar a los demás.

Actualmente me dedico a coordinar la producción de contenido audiovisual en un ente público de la ciudad capital; es un trabajo en el cual no veía expectativas, pero causalmente ahora nos acaban de aprobar un hermoso proyecto audiovisual femenino que me ha llenado de ganas y de orgullo sobre todo porque en mi país, las mujeres somos muy valientes.

Tengo un hijo precioso de 12 años y también me hago cargo de mi hermana menor de 14 años, ambos sin un padre que los represente. Mi madre y yo hemos conformado un equipo donde ella es la mamá que cuida, que crea el calor del hogar, mientras mi persona busca el sustento y los recursos económicos. Toda mi vida está enfocada en darles a ellos tres el apoyo necesario para que vivan tranquilos y aunque están en mi ciudad natal, siempre los extraño todas las noches y todos los días de mi vida, toda mi fuerza y mi poder es para ellos.

My name is Ana María Petrella, I was born and I live in Venezuela, I currently reside in Caracas, Capital District of my country. From a very young age I have dedicated myself to music, specifically the piano and singing, after that I decided to start writing poetry and it is something that I still maintain as an outlet and a way of draining the situations I have experienced.

In my adulthood I began to dedicate myself to education (degree in pedagogies), I had the happiness of studying in an experimental university making my career very different in terms of critical thinking with an alternative way of teaching seeking Freedom of Knowledge through love and the understanding of the mind in the youngest, which is not very well seen by conventional teachers. Somehow I have continued my struggle to improve the educational form but only from the artistic field.

Several years have passed and I can say that I have worked in different jobs (of my career and not) offering me a very aware and sometimes revealing perspective of reality. For some time I have also dedicated myself to the practice of Ashtanga Yoga as a fundamental principle to improve my health and this has made me stronger, above all spiritually.

I come from separated parents, a family that has overcome many difficulties, however, music, yoga and love for pedagogy have helped me get ahead with empathy for society and looking for ways to help others.

I am currently dedicated to coordinating the production of audiovisual content in a public entity in the capital city; It is a job in which I did not see any expectations, but by chance we have just been approved for a beautiful female audiovisual project that has filled me with desire and pride, especially because in my country, women are very brave.

I have a beautiful 12-year-old son and I also take care of my 14-year-old younger sister, both without a father to represent them. My mother and I have formed a team where she is the mother who cares, who creates the warmth of the home, while my person seeks livelihood and financial resources. My whole life is focused on giving the three of them the support they need to live in peace and even though they are in my hometown, I always miss them every night and every day of my life, all my strength and power is for them.
